Thanks! No, I don't often do short stories - at least, not ones unrelated to the novels. This one was just screaming to be told.

As for the blog, you're VERY welcome. I've been so busy with the other aspects of my life - acting, directing, fighting, traveling, fathering, husbanding, and of course, writing - that this blog is the easiest thing to say, "I'll get to that tomorrow." But with new books coming in 2012, I can put it off no longer! And besides, this is the fun stuff.
